This wild frog is 20 whole months old today. It's such a bittersweet feeling watching him grow up. He's a lot of fun and love and crazy all rolled into one. I love seeing the lightbulb go off every day. He's really in to trains and puzzles and helping with chores and pretzels and kisses this month. I guess it's time to start planning his 2nd birthday soon! Eek! Papa and I love you forever and always, little froggy.
We spent our Sunday at Uncle John's Cider Mill with mama & baby friends. It was crazy busy, but worth the trip. We ate doughnuts, picked pumpkins, danced to the live music, and rode the tractor. I'm really missing our nice camera this time of year. So many great photo ops, and only a camera phone in sight. Sigh. At least I'm capturing the moments I can.
This kid loves being outside. He loves walking and strolling and throwing rocks and collecting sticks. We have been going on weekly hikes with mama and baby friends which is so much fun. I have no idea what we will do this winter. Cabin fever is already starting to set in. I think he will grow up to be an explorer. Or a nature trail guide. Definitely an outdoorsman.
