Today you are one month
old! Your dad and I couldn’t be more in love. I can’t believe how much you’ve
grown this past month. The little onesies that fit you just weeks ago are now
too small. You are eating ALL the time.
Some days it seems that’s all we do. I’m learning to be okay with it.
You also poop, a lot. And fart really loud. Hearing you crap your pants never
gets old. Besides eating and pooping you spend your days making lots of funny
faces and lots of funny noises. You squeal like a pig, whimper like a puppy,
screech like a dolphin, baa like a sheep and neigh like a horse (to name a
few). You make this one face that resembles a duck or fish, and it seems as
though you are whistling or modeling. We can’t really tell what you are doing
so we just make it up. We also like to speak for you since you can’t yet. Your
favorite thing to say scream is “give me boobies!” Boobies are your
favorite. So far you’ve met all your grandparents, but you still have SO many
people to meet. We are planning a trip to Macomb in a couple weeks. Yes, we are
crazy for taking a 6 week old on an 8-hour road trip. I’m guessing it will end
up being closer to 12 hours, or if you keep up these eating habits, it could
take days. We shall see. Oh, your hair. Everybody LOVES your locks. I swear
you’re going to need a haircut in the next few weeks. A rattail is beginning to
form, and we just can’t have that. We are learning to live as a family of
three. You are the sweetest little baby. Papa and I are so lucky to have you. I
can’t wait to see what the next month holds.
